Bernalillo Wastewater Information
The Wastewater Department has noticed more buildup of fats, rags, oils and grease (f.r.og.) in the Bernalillo sewer system. Please try to avoid flushing the following products as they can be hard on your pipes and the town’s sewer system; those products are grease, rags, “flushable” wipes, and hygiene products. Throw them in the trash instead of flushing them down the toilet this way you can prevent clogs and bad odors in your pipes. The wastewater department appreciates your cooperation.
